Misa did not receive the death penalty because she cooperated with the authorities by providing valuable information and evidence that helped in solving the case. Her cooperation may have been seen as a mitigating factor by the court, leading to a lesser sentence. Additionally, her lawyer may have negotiated a plea deal that resulted in a reduced sentence in exchange for her cooperation. **

Last-minute vacations can be worth it if you are flexible and open to spontaneous travel. The presence of Misa and Rem in Death Note adds complexity and depth to the story. Misa's infatuation with Light and her willingness to do anything for him creates tension and conflict, while Rem's protective nature towards Misa and her own moral struggles add an interesting dynamic to the plot. Their involvement also contributes to the exploration of themes such as love, power, and morality. Therefore, removing Misa and Rem would have significantly altered the narrative and potentially diminished the impact of these themes. **
